Politics. In Mâcon, Sébastien Lecornu promises to build a “France Santé” network by 2027

The new tenant of Matignon is making his first trip as Prime Minister this Saturday, devoted to the health and "daily life" of the French.
Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu promised this Saturday in Mâcon (Saône-et-Loire) to build a network of "France Santé" centers by 2027 that will provide all French people with healthcare services around 30 minutes from their homes.
"We must have a local healthcare offering in each catchment area at a minimum, and therefore generally something around 30 minutes from your home," he declared during a visit to a health center, his first trip as head of government.
Based on the model of the “France Services” housesSébastien Lecornu is aiming for 5,000 "France Santé" centers by 2027, which will be modeled on the "France Services" centers, which offer a one-stop shop for various administrative procedures. The creation of this network will be included in the State and Social Security budgets for 2026, he said.
The new Prime Minister is making his first trip as a resident of Matignon this Saturday, focusing on the health and "daily life" of the French people, leaving aside for a few hours the consultations he is actively conducting in Paris before forming a government.
Barely four days after his appointment, the new and young (39-year-old) Prime Minister is meeting the French people, for whom he remains largely unknown. He arrived at the Mâcon departmental health center around 10:15 a.m., where he is expected to discuss with employees the measures to improve access to care.
